Best Board Book Series for Baby/Toddler Holiday Gifts

Fatuma Hydara

One of my absolute favorite board book series is the Our Neighborhood books from Little Bee Books.

Written by diverse authors, the Our Neighborhood is a series of board books that celebrates every kids' culture so kids can find themselves, their family, and their friends in every book.

This makes it the perfect series for Tuma's Books and for gifting to the littlest readers this holiday season. 💜 The Our Neighborhood series allows parents to introduce their little ones to diverse holidays in an engaging way through beautiful, colorful board books.

These delightful board books are meant to serve as mirrors and windows into joyous  household from diverse backgrounds.

I know I'll be preordering Radiant Ramadan by Marzieh Abbas and Anoosha Syed for my own baby girl. Radiant Ramadan is an ode to the Muslim observance of Ramadan that includes the spotting of the crescent moon and celebrating family traditions. We already own and love their other board books Friday Fun (about the holiest day of a Muslim week and Jummah prayers at the mosque) and Excited for Eid (about the celebration of the Muslim holiday Eid-ul-Fitr).

Here are the Rest of the Books in the Series:
