Diverse Back to School Recs for Middle Schoolers

It’s basically Back to School Season and this is the first year since 2014 that I’m not preparing to go back into the classroom. While I really love my current work, it’s a bittersweet feeling to not be part of the fresh start a new school year brings.

BUT you can take the teacher out of the classroom, but she’ll always be an educator. So, I’m sharing a few Back to School book recs for middle schoolers that are all about starting at a new school or the first day of school.
