Smiling Coast Women Empowerment Network, or SCWEN, is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering Black Muslim women through education, leadership, mentorship, and service.

This year, SCWEN is launching a bimonthly book club! In partnership with Tuma's Books, SCWEN will build their mission of sisterhood and community by reading books by Black, African, Muslim women, exploring diverse stories, genres, and themes.
