A story that refuses to be read just once

My niece Meenu absolutely adores this. It's become a nightly ritual and she practically refuses to sleep without hearing at least a few pages from this beautiful story. The lyrical writing and enchanting world Sabrina Shah has created using Pathan and Pakistani culture truly capture her imagination. As an adult reading it aloud, I find myself equally drawn to the message of hope and perseverance. A truly special book. Plus, amazing pictures of Pakistan in the ending author notes. Makes me want to go and visit those beautiful places.

An absolute fantastic read, perfect for my children, colourful and full of inspiration. Super informative at the back with some facts about parts of the story such as Pakistan and the musical instruments used.
Worth highlighting the quality of the book too, very well made and vibrant colours. Ordered a couple more for gifts 😊 Highly recommend!
