Self Published Saturday (March 30th, 2024) - My Adoption by Andrea White, The Doctor Says: Let's Talk About Body Safety by Dr. Pat Morgan , and

Happy Saturday! Today, I wanted to do a spotlight on a few self-published authors that I discovered recently. So often authors, especially authors of color, have to go the self-publishing route because of the gatekeeping in traditional publishing. Many may think that self-publishing is the easy way out. However, in lots of ways, self-published authors do a LOT more work to get themselves out there. They don't have a team to edit and/or marketing their book. They do all of that themselves or outsource the work. In short, self-publishing is NOT easy, so please support these wonderful writers. 💜
