United StatesZoboi’s words are quick witted poetry and her brilliant characterizations (and clever winks at the original Austen work) makes this modern interpretation of P&P a delight. The topics of culture, gentrification, and identity fit right alongside the exploration of family loyalty, first impressions, judgements and pride which carry over from the original novel. I am so glad I found Tuma’s shop and her curated selection of diverse reads or I might not have read this delightful book. Definitely a new regular customer!
